India's Retail Inflation Rises To 15-Month High Of 7.44% In July: Govt Data

Previously, high inflation was recorded at 7.79 per cent in April 2022. The inflation in the food basket was 11.51 per cent in July compared to 4.55 per cent in June and 6.69 per cent in July 2022, as per the data.

Unemployment rate dips to 7.2% during July-September 2022 in India: NSO Data

Unemployment rate for persons aged 15 years and above in urban areas declined to 7.2 per cent during July-September 2022: NSO. Earlier, it was 9.8% a year ago. Joblessness was high in July-September 2021 mainly due to the staggering impact of Covid-related restrictions in the country.

ESIC scheme adds 12.19 lakh new subscribers in October: NSO Data

The latest data is part of a report released by the National Statistical Office. Gross new enrolments with ESIC were 10.78 lakh in April. The figure stood at 8.91 lakh in May, 10.68 lakh in June, 13.40 lakh in July and 13.47 lakh in August.

Retail inflation rises marginally to 4.48% in October

According to NSO data, inflation in food basket rose to 0.85 per cent in October. The Reserve Bank of India has been tasked by the government to keep it at 4 per cent. The RBI has projected the CPI inflation at 5.3 per cent for 2021-22.
