7 Indian, 1 Pak YouTube channels blocked for 'spreading disinformation'
Centre has blocked eight YouTube channels for spreading 'fake anti-India content'. False claims were made in various videos of the blocked YouTube channels, the IT ministry said. Since December 2021, India has blocked over 100 YouTube channels.

Ensure ads on online gaming don't promote activity prohibited by law: Centre
The guidelines were issued by Advertising Standards Council of India on Nov 24, which will come into effect from Dec 15. For audio or video, there should be a disclaimer that this game involves an element of financial risk and may be addictive. Please play responsibly and at your own risk. The advertisements should not present ‘Online gaming for real money winnings’ as an income opportunity or an alternative employment option.
