External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday mourned the death of five Indian students. The victims, Harpreet Singh, Jaspinder Singh, Karanpal Singh, Mohit Chouhan and Pawan Kumar, were aged between 21 and 24 years. The police said that they were all students in the Greater Toronto and Montreal areas.

The temple in Terri village was attacked by the mob after members of the Hindu community received permission from local authorities to renovate its decades-old building. First batch of 'facilitated' Afghan Sikhs lands in India
The first batch of Afghan Sikhs who were keen to be in India's promised facilitation mission landed in Delhi on Sunday at 1.30 pm. India on July 23 had said that the Indian mission in Kabul is providing the Afghan Hindus and Sikhs visas to come to India. More than 25 Afghan Sikhs and One Indian Sikh were killed on the March 25th Gurudwara terror attack in Kabul.
