No need of UP, MP model; Karnataka model will be implemented, says CM Bommai

CM Basavaraj Bommai said that Karnataka does not need UP, MP model. Bommai said that the Karnataka model will be implemented to investigate the Hubli incident. BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel had remarked on adopting the UP, MP model in the state to curb riots.

Karnataka: 40 arrested over stone-pelting at police station in Hubli

Six cases were registered in connection with stone-pelting at Old Hubli police station in Karnataka. Four policemen were injured in the incident. 40 persons involved in the violent act have been arrested and a probe into the matter is underway.
