Coronavirus cases in India cross 60-lakh mark, death toll at 95,542

As per the Ministry, India`s tally stands at 60,74,703 including 9,62,640 active cases. The total recoveries in the country crossed 50-lakh mark on Monday (September 28) as per the Ministry of health and family welfare. The number of cured and discharged or migrated patients is currently at 50,16,521, apart from 95,542 deaths due to the disease.

COVID-19 tally in India crosses 58-lakh mark with over 86,000 fresh infections

Of the total cases, 47,56,165 have been recovered and there are 9,70,116 active cases of Covid-19 in India. India has climbed another historic peak of more than 13 lakh tests. A total of 13.80 lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry. According to the data from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India conducted 14,92,409 sample tests in a single day on Thursday, taking the total number of samples tested so far to 6,89,28,440.

India records 64,553 new COVID cases in last 24 hrs, tally cross 24 lakh mark

The total coronavirus cases stand at 24,61,191 of which there are 6,61,595 active cases and 17,51,556 patients have been cured/discharged/migrated. A total of 1007 patients have succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours. There are more than 6.60 lakh active cases, which is 26.88 per cent of the total cases.

India records highest single-day spike with 14,516 new COVID-19 cases

With the highest single-day spike of 14,516 new cases in the last 24 hours, the Covid-19 tally in India crossed 3.9 lakh mark on Saturday (June 20, 2020). The total number of infected persons in India has mounted to 3,95,048, while the death toll rose to 12,948, as per the latest data by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday morning.
