SC seeks Centre's reply on pleas seeking removal of protesting farmers
The Supreme Court issued a notice to the Centre on a batch of petitions seeking removal of farmers camping at several roads near Delhi borders. The court may form a committee having representatives of the government and the farmer unions to resolve the deadlock over the legislations. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the bench that the government will not do anything against the interest of farmers.

The PIL was filed in the SC seeking NIA probe into the 2008 agreement between the Indian National Congress and the Communist Party of China amid India-China face-off on LAC The PIL alleged that despite having a hostile relation with China, Congress had signed an agreement when it was running a coalition govt and hidden the facts and details of the agreement from the country The said agreement was signed between Congress and the Communist Party of China in Beijing for exchanging high-level information and co-operation
