When IPL Star Abhishek Sharma’s Name Surfaced In Model Tanya Singh’s Tragic Suicide Case

Surat police revealed that the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) cricketer was in contact with Tanya for months. Call detail and IP records showed consistent communication between the two before her tragic demise.

Unanswered WhatsApp messages sent by Tanya to Abhishek days before her suicide became a critical point of investigation. Authorities are examining the emotional weight these messages may have carried.

Abhishek Sharma was summoned to Surat’s Vesu police station in early March. He was interrogated for over four hours, with authorities seeking clarity on his connection to Tanya Singh.

Reports suggest that Abhishek had blocked Tanya on social media and stopped responding to her calls. This action is being analyzed as a potential trigger for Tanya's mental distress.

Tanya was reportedly wearing earphones at the time of her death, leading to speculation that she might have been on a call before taking her own life. Investigators are delving into this lead.

Despite the legal troubles, Abhishek Sharma has been a standout performer for SRH in IPL 2024, amassing nearly 300 runs with a staggering strike rate of over 218.
