Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami In: India's Predicted Playing XI For Champions Trophy 2025 Match Against Pakistan

India’s skipper Rohit Sharma will start the proceedings apart from leading the side in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. He smashed a century against England in the three-match ODI series, which clearly states that he is back in from.

India’s young opener Shubman Gill will open the innings with Rohit Sharma. Gill also had a terrific ODI series against England where he scored a century apart from making a couple of fifties.

India’s star batter Virat Kohli will bat at the number three position for India. The former India skipper has been the biggest headache for Pakistan over the years. He has got the ability to fire under pressure and hence this role becomes extremely important.

The Mumbai-based batter Shreyas Iyer will come out to bat at the number four position for India in the Champions Trophy game against Pakistan. He was in sublime form in the recently passed ODI series against England.

Star player KL Rahul is the number five batter for the Indian team. His versatile batting can decide India’s fate in the Champions Trophy 2025.

Hardik Pandya will lead India’s all-round department and will play a vital role in the Champions Trophy. 

Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja can come in handy for the Indian team. With his left-arm spin and batting, he can be the X-factor for the Indian team. Jadeja can also save some crucial runs in the middle which clearly gives India an edge in the game against Pakistan.

Yet another all-rounder that India can count on is Axar Patel. He can spin his way for India’s win. 

In the middle overs, Kuldeep Yadav can make a huge difference with his wicket-taking ability on the dry surface of Dubai.

Since Jasprit Bumrah is ruled out, Mohammed Shami will lead the Indian pace battery. A lot will be on the cards for Shami who recently made his comeback after a long injury haul.
