In Pics: COVID-19 scare hits IPL 2021

Two more members of the ground-staff and a plumber at the Wankhede Stadium have tested positive for COVID-19 on April 6. Earlier last Saturday, 10 ground-staff members of the stadium had tested positive, but most of them have since recovered.

Royal Challengers Bangalore opener Devdutt Padikkal is in quarantine at his home in Bengaluru after testing positive for Covid-19 on March 22.

Padikkal, 20, is "feeling well" and will "join the RCB bio-bubble once his RT-PCR tests are negative," the franchise said in a statement.

Kolkata Knight Riders' batsman Nitish Rana tested negative for coronavirus after returning a positive result on March 22. He will start training shortly with an eye on the opening game against SunRisers Hyderabad on April 11.

Mumbai Indians’ scout and wicket-keeping consultant Kiran More tested positive for COVID-19 on April 6. The former Indian cricketer is currently asymptomatic and has been isolated as per the health guidelines issued by BCCI.

Delhi Capitals all-rounder Axar Patel tested positive for COVID-19 on April 3. He is currently in isolation at a designated medical care facility and will the team's opening game against CSK on April 10.
