DMRC is expanding its network under Phase 4, adding 44 new stations across three priority corridors, with completion targeted by 2026.
The Janakpuri West-Krishna Park Extension (2.8 km) on the Magenta Line is now operational, marking the first completed section of Phase 4.
Three Priority Corridors are Maujpur to Majlis Park (12.318 km, 8 stations), Krishna Park Extension to Ramakrishna Ashram Marg (26.462 km, 21 stations) and Delhi Aerocity to Tughlakabad (23.622 km, 15 stations).
The expansion will enhance metro access in key areas, improving last-mile connectivity and reducing traffic congestion.
The three corridors will feature major stations like Bhajanpura, Pitampura, Azadpur, Chhatarpur Mandir, Khanpur, and Tughlakabad.
According to ETNOW reports, DMRC aims to complete the entire Phase 4 project by 2026, with gradual opening of sections as work progresses
