All Mondays have significant importance in the month of Sawan and the worshippers observe fast and only consume fruits and water as a part of Sawan somvar vrat.

During Sawan month, the devotees of Lord Shiva also carry out a Kavar Yatra to Haridwar, which was cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
