Hollywood's high-profile actor couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's pricey defamation trial is at its end as both have sued each other claiming they were abused before and during their roughly two-year marriage. The jury is expected to begin deliberations on Friday after each side delivers its closing arguments, as per Reuters. Amid all the hullabaloo, viral text messages shared between Depp and Heard have surfaced on social media, where the Pirates of the Caribbean actor claimed that SpaceX and Twitter honcho Elon Musk had an affair with Amber Heard only a month after their wedding. Interestingly, as per the IANS report, on Day 10 of the defamation trial on April 27, singer Lady Gaga's former beau Christian Carino testified in a recorded video deposition that was played in a Virginia court. He was both Depp and Heard's former agent. When asked whether Amber "ever had a relationship" with Musk, the agent confirmed they did. has testified about actress Amber Heard's relationship with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Following her split from Hollywood star Johnny Depp in May 2016, the actress dated the tech entrepreneur for a year, but her former agent said she never loved him. Now, private chats have been shared online and fans are shocked. 

Christian Carino was also shown correspondence between him and Amber from August 2017, around the time Amber and Elon were reported to have broken up. "Dealing with break-up. I hate when things go public... I'm so sad," Amber texted Carino. 

He replied: "You weren't in love with him and you told me a thousand times you were just filling space." Heard seemed to confirm this as she wrote back: "I know, but I wanted time to grieve and recover in my own time." Christian then told Amber she "could avoid" press attention if she "stopped dating uber-famous people."

He advised her: "If you don't like being in the press about your personal life, then don't date people that are famous."

 

"I don't know whether they were dating, but they had definitely spent time together," Christian Carino said, claiming that he learned of Heard and Musk's relationship "not long after" the San Francisco meeting as per IANS report.

Carino also believed that Amber "still" loved Johnny and she wanted to "reconcile" with the actor.

According to Reuters, during her final testimony on Thursday, an emotional Amber Heard told jurors, "He wanted to ruin my career. The threats he made to humiliate me, globally, are being lived out in real-time, in front of you ... and the whole world."

Depp has denied hitting Heard or any woman and said she was the one who turned violent in their relationship. The pair met in 2011 while filming "The Rum Diary" and wed in February 2015. Their divorce was finalized about two years later.

"No human being is perfect," Depp said on Wednesday. "But I have never in my life committed sexual battery, physical abuse."

Over six weeks of proceedings, jurors have listened to explicit recordings of fights between the former couple, seen graphic photos of a bloody severed finger and heard arguments about feces found in the couple`s bed.

The Aquaman actress delivered her final testimony in the multimillion-dollar defamation battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp on Thursday, May 26, 2022, telling jurors she has faced daily harassment and death threats since she accused the Hollywood star of abuse.

Depp, 58, sued Heard in Virginia for $50 million and argued that she defamed him when she called herself 'a public figure representing domestic abuse', as per PTI. Heard, 36, has countersued for $100 million, saying Depp smeared her when his lawyer called her accusations a 'hoax'.

"People want to kill me and they tell me so every day," Heard said. "People want to put my baby in the microwave." Heard adopted a baby girl in July 2021.

Two years back, Johnny Depp lost a libel case against the Sun, a British tabloid that labeled him a 'wife beater'. A London High Court judge ruled that he had repeatedly assaulted Heard.
