Humble Beginnings
Raised in a small house in Bhagalpur, Arunabh’s family struggled to pay for his IIT education. His journey from these challenging beginnings to success is truly remarkable.
Early Ventures
After graduation, Arunabh started his first venture, Franglobal, which he later sold to Franchise India. He then explored the hospitality sector with Tribo Hotels where he observed a market gap in the laundry business.
The Big Shift
Noticing the gap in the laundry market, Arunabh and his wife, Gunjan, decided to start UClean in January 2017 with an initial investment of Rs 20 lakh.
Rapid Expansion
UClean rapidly expanded its footprint, diversifying into Hyderabad and Pune by 2017 and growing to over 350 stores in 104 cities across India. The company also ventured into Bangladesh, Nepal, and plans to enter Africa and the Middle East.
A Fast-Growing Success
Known as 'IIT Laundrywala,' Arunabh’s UClean became the fastest brand in India to reach 200 franchises, reflecting the impressive growth and success of his entrepreneurial journey.
