Akshay Kumar travelled barefoot to cheer for the Women in Blue at Lord's

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar was one of the supporters at the Lord’s cricket ground cheering for the Women in Blue who played England in the World Cup match, Sunday evening. The Bollywood superstar apparently travelled barefoot to watch the match!

Akki took to Twitter to share a video which shows him speaking about how he ran to catch the train.

The World Cup Final match was a trilling contest. The Women in Blue lead by Mitali Nag put up a great show but lost to the hosts by losing quick wickets in the end.

This was the second time the Indian Women’s Cricket team made it to the finals of the World Cup. They had made it to the finals against Australia in 2005.
