Dhaka: Terror again struck Bangladesh on Thursday, on the occasion of Eid, even as the Islamic country continued to mourn the dead from last week's terror attack in Dhaka.

Islamist militants exploded crude bombs at the country's biggest Eid gathering in Sholakia in northern Kishoreganj district and then engaged in a gun battle with police.

One policeman was killed and a militant neutralised at the Eid gathering where at least 200,000 people had gathered.
