Gulberg society massacre: BJP corporator Bipin Patel acquitted by Ahmedabad court

Ahmedabad: Pronouncing its verdict on Gulberg​ society massacre, Ahmedabad court on Thursday acquitted BJP corporator Bipin Patel in the case.

Bipin Patel is a sitting BJP corporator from Asarva seat. 

He was also the corporator in 2002 when the massacre happened and won the election for fourth consecutive term last year.

Of 66 accused, 36 have been acquitted. Also, 24 have been convicted in the case.

No conviction has been made on the charges of conspiracy.
