Los Angeles: A 1928 movie poster featuring iconic character Mickey Mouse sold for more than $100,000 at a recent US auction. The advertisement, believed to be one of the earliest surviving Mickey Mouse posters, was snapped up by an unidentified bidder for $101,575 when it went under the hammer at the Heritage Auctions sale in Dallas, Texas, reports a website. The poster, created by Walt Disney, depicts Mickey smiling and waving, while a tagline calls the animated icon ‘The World`s Funniest Cartoon Character’.
