Quick Masala Oats with Veggies for a Healthy filling Breakfast

Ingredients:

Oats, chopped veggies of choice (carrots, peas, beans), oil, cumin seeds, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, green chilies, coriander and salt to taste

Step 1

In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle to release their aroma for a flavorful base.

Step 2

Add chopped veggies and green chilies. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender, but keep their crunch.

Step 3

Sprinkle turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well to coat the veggies evenly with the spices.

Step 4

Add oats to the pan and stir. Pour in 2 cups of water and cook until the oats are cooked well with the veggies.

Step 5

Top with freshly chopped coriander leaves. Stir well and let the flavors blend for another minute.

Step 6

Serve your Masala Oats hot! A perfect, healthy, and filling breakfast to kickstart your day.
