Quick and Easy to Make High Fiber Beetroot Kebab for Busy Mornings

Step 1

Steam the beetroots and boil the potatoes until soft. Peel them and let them cool.

Step 2

Lightly toast 1/2 cup of oats in a pan on low heat until golden. Cool it and then coarsely grind.

Step 3

Grate the boiled potatoes and steamed beetroots in a bowl.

Step 4

Add grated ginger, chopped cilantro, chopped green chillies, coarsely powdered oats, roasted cumin powder, paprika/red chilli powder, lime juice, and salt. Mix well.

Step 5

Divide the mixture into equal portions. Lightly oil your palms and shape them into tikki-like patties.

Step 6

Coat the patties with coarsely toasted oats on both sides. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.

Step 7

Serve the Kebabs hot with chutney/ sauce of your choice.
