All-purpose flour, ghee, water, mawa, sugar, chopped nuts, saffron strands (optional) and cardamom powder
Mix flour and ghee, then gradually add water to form a soft, smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
In a pan, sauté mawa until light golden. Add sugar, cardamom powder and nuts. Mix well and let it cool completely.
Divide the dough into small balls, roll them out, place filling in the center, and seal tightly into a round shape.
Heat oil on low-medium flame. Fry kachoris until golden brown and crispy. Drain excess oil on tissue.
Boil sugar and water until slightly thick. Add saffron for flavor and let the syrup cool slightly.
Dip fried kachoris in warm syrup for a few seconds. Garnish with nuts and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious Mawa Kachoris!
