How To Make Sugar Free Barfi in 6 Easy Steps

Ingredients Required

You will need 1 cup of Kashmiri Badam (Almonds), 1 cup of soft dates, and 5 strands of saffron.

Step 1

Put the Kashmiri Badam and saffron together in a blender and grind until it forms a fine powder. Preserve some of the powder for later use.

Step 2

Keep grinding until the mixture turns into smooth saffron-almond butter.

Step 3

To prepare the Date Paste, 6 dates at a time in the blender until it forms a smooth and sticky paste. Repeat the process till all the dates are blended.

Step 4

Combine both the Almond Butter and Date Paste and knead it gently.

Step 5

Shape the Barfi by pressing it on a thick sheet placed onto a plate and using a knife cut it into squares.

Step 6

Chill the Badam Barfi for an hour to firm it up.
