In a frying pan, dry roast dried red chillies, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon and coriander seeds until they turn fragrant.

Let the spices cool and then add them in a grinder and grind the spices into a fine powder.

Now to prepare the dabeli chutney, in a blender bled chopped tomatoes, garlics and red chillies.

For the potato filling, boil the potatoes and let it cool.

In a separate pan heat 2 tablespoons oil and add cumin seeds and onions. Once the onions turn soft add the prepared spice mixture and boiled potatoes.

6.)

Once the potato filling is prepared, start by toasting your buns on a pan.

7.)

Now here comes the assembling your dabeli, start of by potato filling and then layer it tamarind and green chutney and close the both sides with buns.
