To make jalebi at home you'll need maida, corn flour, yogurt, baking soda, sugar, water, saffron strands, cardamom powder and ghee.

In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, corn flour, a pinch of baking soda, and yogurt. Gradually add water to make a smooth batter.

Let the batter sit for about 30 minutes to an hour.

In a pan, combine sugar and water, then boil it until the syrup reaches a single-thread consistency then add cardamom powder and saffron for flavor and color.

Heat a mix of ghee and oil in a pan or wok for frying.

6.)

Fill a piping bag or squeeze bottle with the batter and shape the jalebis in the hot oil by making circular patterns.

7.)

Once the jalebis are fried, immediately dip them into the warm sugar syrup for about 10-15 seconds.
