7-Step Healthy Beetroot and Sweet Potato Kebab Wrap Recipe

Ingredients :

Grated beetroot, boiled sweet potato, chopped onion, green chilies, coriander, cumin powder, garam masala, chili powder, gram flour, whole wheat tortilla or roti, yogurt, lettuce and sliced veggies and sauce

Step 1

In a bowl, mix grated beetroot, mashed sweet potato, chopped onion, green chilies, coriander, gram flour, and spices. Add salt and combine well.

Step 2

Shape the mixture into cylindrical or round kebabs. Ensure they are bonded well, add more gram flour if needed.

Step 3

Shallow fry or grill the kebabs on a non-stick pan with a little oil until golden brown and crispy.

Step 4

Warm the wheat tortilla or roti on tawa, spread a layer of yogurt and drizzle your favorite sauce over it.

Step 5

Layer fresh lettuce and sliced veggies (cucumber, carrots) to add crunch and vibrant color.

Step 6

Place the cooked kebabs in the center. Add a little more sauce for flavor. Roll the tortilla into a wrap.

Step 7

Cut the wrap into halves and serve immediately. A healthy and filling meal is ready!
