Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha empire and the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who fought multiple wars during his reign from 1681-1689.

His war conflicts from Mughals and Portuguese were historical, let’s discuss some of the historical wars fought by Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Maratha Mughal Battle of Aundha (1682-1688)

After Sambhaji Maharaj Became the new Maratha King he led the army and campaign to take away the rule from the mughals.

Battle Of Burhanpur (1681)

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj led an aggressive attack on Burhanpur, one of the capital city of Mughals and successfully Conquered it.

Battle Of Kanchangad (1683)

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj gave the direct challenge to mughal in order to capture the power of kanchangad which he significantly won.

Maratha-Portuguese War (1683-1684)

The Martha Empire with the order of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Directly invaded to take the control of Portuguese area Goa and Bombay.

Maratha-Mysore War (1682)

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj along with his army fought against the Mysore Kingdom led by Chikkadevaraya Wodeyar.
