Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu got married on October 11, 1966.
The two have worked together in films namely – Gopi, Chhoti Bahu, Sagina, Bairaag and Duniya.
Known as the tragedy king of Hindi Cinema, Kumar was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 1991, Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994, India's highest award in cinema in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan, the country's second-highest civilian award in 2015.
He turned 95 on December 11 last year.
