What an idea Sir ji! Protests are passé, take #Selfiewithgomata to save cows

Kolkata: In a unique way to save cows from being slaughtered, a trust in Kolkata has come up with a new idea.

The Go Seva Parivar is asking people to post their selfies with cows to create awareness against cow slaughter.

The trust said it is getting good response from youngsters who are posting their photos on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter with the hashtag #Selfiewithgomata in a campaign that was launched after Diwali.

Notably, cow laughter is legal in West Bengal.
