Dehradun: Heavy rains triggered a series of cloudbursts and landslides in Tehri district of Uttarakhand on Saturday, bringing residential houses under loads of debris and blocking highway leading to Kedarnath Temple.

The cloudbursts took place at around 3 pm on Saturday over Kothiara village, damaging around 50 residential houses and killing several cattle.

No report of any human casualty has been surfaced as yet.

Similar cloudbursts also took place at Kemra and Siliara villages.
