Three PREPAK-PRO militants arrested in Manipur

Imphal: Three militants of the banned militant outfit PREPAK (PRO) were arrested by security forces from the Indo-Myanmar border town of Moreh on Wednesday, police said.

The three militants of the Peoples Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK-PRO) were arrested from near Sunrise Club in Moreh town of Tengnoupal district, they said.

A senior police officer said security forces have intensified patrolling along the border with Myanmar since yesterday to prevent any displaced Rohingyas from the neighbouring country from illegally entering the state

One militant of the proscribed Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) was arrested by the police from Thangal Bazaar of Imphal yesterday, police said.
