Explosive-laden car near Indian consulate building in Herat creates panic

Kabul: Security forces have recovered a car with explosives near Indian consulate building in Herat, Afghanistan. One person has been arrested in this regard. 

Initial investigation have revealed that the car was being used for transportation of the explosives. 

An investigation is on to ascertain the exact motive and reason behind the presence of the car near the consulate building. However the security has been beefed up in the area. 

Today's incident comes in the backdrop of an attack on Indian consulate at Mazar-i-Sharif. 

At least three terrorists were shot dead following a fierce gun-battle overnight.
