New Delhi: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg held his first live question & answer session with fans over the recently launched, Facebook Live feature, answering various queries asked by users through his post.

In his hour-long video Q&A session via Facebook Live, the founder of the social networking giant told users that if he'd to start again as a teenager, he'd still build something similar to the Facebook that we know today.

The Facebook chief executive spoke of the Orlando shootings, and also acknowledged an attack in Paris, where a man killed a police commander his partner and made postings about the attack on the social media site.

“One of the things that I`m so proud of that our community does, whenever there is a tragedy around the world, we always find a way to come together,” said Zuckerberg, speaking from his office at the company`s Menlo Park, California headquarters.

Facebook activated its "Safety Check" function on Sunday (June 12) for the first time in the US after a gunman massacred 50 people at a nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

The feature allows Facebook users to spread the word that they are safe in wake of a natural disaster or a crisis, and allows searches for those who might be in the affected area.
