Budget 2016: 'It's about the dreams of people' - PM Narendra Modi's reaction; what all he said

New Delhi: Congratulating Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and his team for Union Budget 2016-17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that this budget is about the dreams of the people.

Rural infrastructure 

Explaining how this budget will play a key role in improving lives of people in rural India, PM Modi said this budget clearly calls for electrifying all villages thus giving an impetus to rural infrastructure.

The budget reflects our commitment to electrify villages by 2018, he added.

Housing sector
