West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry Assembly elections 2016 - Exit polls: As it happened

Today’s Chanakya News X seat projection for Kerala: LDF - 75 ± 9, UDF - 57 ± 9, BJP+ - 08 ± 4 and Others - 0 ± 1.

India TV-CVoter exit polls: In Puducherry, the DMK-Congress combine is projected to win 10-18 seats.

On the other hand, AINRC is projected to win 5-13 seats, AIADMK 1-9 seats, BJP 0-2 seats and Others 0-4 seats in a House of 30 members. 

India TV-CVoter exit poll: In Tamil Nadu, the ruling AIADMK is projected to win 135 to 143 seats.

On the other hand, DMK-Congress combine is projected to win 74 to 82 seats and BJP-led NDA may get only 0-1 seats.

Others 13-21 seats. 

Exit  poll conducted by CVoter and telecast on India TV - In West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress projected to win within a range of 163 to 171 seats in a House of 294. (TMC had won 184 seats in the last Assembly electyions).

The Left-Congress alliance may win 112-128 seats. (CPI(M)-led Left Front is projected to win 71-79 seats and Congress may bag 41-49 seats.)

BJP is projected to win two to six seats and Others one to five seats. 

CVoter-India TV poll - In Kerala, the United Democratic Front has been projected to win within a range of 54 to 62 seats.

The CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front is projected to win 74-82 seats in a House of 140.

BJP-led NDA may win 0-4, and Others also 0-4 seats.

Exit  poll conducted by CVoter, telecast on India TV predicts BJP-led alliance to get seats within a range of 53-61 in a House of 126.

On the other hand, the ruling Congress is projected to get 37-45 seats, while the AIUDF is projected to win 14-22 seats, with 6-14 seats going to Óthers and Independents.

The half way figure is 64.

Times Now C-voter exit poll: AIADMK+ - 139 DMK+ - 78, BJP - 0 and Others - 17.

The exit poll gives 90 (+/ -9) seats to BJP, 27(+/-7) seats to Congress, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) has been predicted to get 9 (+/- 3) seats and 00 (+2) seats to other parties.

Assam Assembly elections - TimesNow-CVoter Exit Poll - Congress 41, BJP+ 57, AIUDF 18 and Others 10 (Margin of error +/- 3).

Poll conducted by ABP Ananda predicts a huge win for Trinamool Congress in West Bengal.

TMC expected to win 178 seats and Left-Congress 110.

According to India Today-Axis My India polls TMC to win 233-253 seats in West Bengal. 

TimesNow-CVoter exit poll predicts TMC to win 167 seats, CPM+ 75, Congress 45,  BJP 4 and others 3. 

BJP-led alliance to form government in Assam with 81 seats, Congress at 33 seats as per ABP News.

Congress may win 26-33 seats in Assam out of 126 seats as per India Today polls.

AIUDF may win 6 to 10 seats.

As per India Today survey BJP-AGP combine expected to win win 79-93 seats in Assams.

 Tamil Nadu recorded 42.1 percent polling till 1 PM, Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni said today, as per PTI.

 Picking up pace rapidly, the Union Territory of Puducherry recorded 71.08 per cent voting till about 4 PM. At 11.30 AM, it had been just 30 per cent, Election Commission officials said.

An estimated 57.54 percent voters exercised their franchise till 3 PM in the elections to 140 Assembly constituencies in Kerala today.
