Jammu: A massive search operation has been launched to flush out most wanted Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Abu Dujana and two of his top associates after they managed to escape from the hands of the security forces.
According to reports, a massive door-to-door search operation is currently on in Machil sector in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The operation was launched after they exchanged fire with the security forces in Bandipora village of the district and managed to flee from the spot.
The trio was travelling in a vehicle which was spotted by the security forces.
Meanwhile, Pakistan troops again violated ceasefire and resorted to heavy shelling in the Sangam area of Nougam sector in Kupwara district.
Indian Army also retaliated to the Pakistan shelling and a heavy exchange of fire from both nsides was reported.
Jawans have been alerted along the LoC following ceasefire violations in Poonch, Rajouri, Naushera, Nowgam, Uri sector in J&K.
