'Baba Siddique's Killing Exposes...': Rahul Gandhi Following NCP Leader’s Death

Rahul Gandhi, leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, alleged that the killing of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique shows the complete collapse of law and order in Maharashtra. He highlighted that the government should take responsibility and justice must prevail.

Rahul Gandhi shared a post on X on Sunday and said, “The tragic demise of Baba Siddique ji is shocking and saddening. My thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.”

Baba Siddique was confronted by three men just outside his son's office at Kher Nagar in Mumbai on Saturday night around 9:30 PM,, where he was shot. Police have arrested two of the assailants, while one remains at large. Siddique was taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Baba Siddique, a former MLA who represented Bandra (West) for three consecutive terms, has died after being shot in Mumbai. A prominent Muslim leader in the city, Siddique was known for his close ties to various Bollywood stars and had recently joined the NCP after leaving the Congress.
