Mumbai: After spending about a few years in India, Sunny Leone has succeeded in striking a chord with people in the film fraternity. She is someone, who has received love and support from all, irrespective of her “past”.

The pretty lady, who made her debut with Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’, in an interview to Femina.in, spoke about the emotions that ran through her mind while giving the interview that received tremendous backlash.

The interviewer drew flak for throwing questions at Sunny that offended and insulted her.

Sunny spoke about her experience of going through the interview that proved to be tormenting.

“I wanted to leave. However, with the kind of questions that he was throwing at me; I felt that people are probably not going to like me after this. I was so afraid that my fans will be upset that I did not take the questions head on. I honestly did not even know how to answer them. I just stayed in my seat and wasn’t going to let this person get the best of me,” Femina quoted the actress as saying.

Many from the film industry – Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Vidya Balan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Geeta Basra and several others including Aamir Khan extended support to Sunny and expressed solidarity with her.
