IND Vs ENG, 3rd T20I Highlights: Varun Chakaravarthy's fifer went in vain as England beat India by 26 runs in the third T20I at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot to keep the five-match series alive.

After winning toss and opting to bowl first, in-form Chakravarthy ran through the England batting as India restricted visitors to 171-9 in 20 overs. India should have chased down the target but batters faltered against an incisive England bowling attack and could only manage 145/9 in 20 overs with Hardik Pandya top-scoring with 40 off 35 balls.

For England, Jamie Overton (3/23) took three wickets while Jofra Archer (2/33) and Brydon Carse (2/28) got two apiece.

"Sad we didn't make it this match, but that's nature of this game. Got to move on and get ready for the next match. When you are playing for the country, you have to take responsibility. I am able to do that to an extent. I don't complain (about one over spells), because there have been times when I have bowled four overs on the trot," says Chakravarthy.

"I am ready for everything. Working on my flipper, it's coming out well. As I told you in the previous match, maybe I have bowled well, but I can get better going forward," he added.
