The last ODI between India and West Indies at Thiruvananthapuram turned out to be another one-sided contest with the West Indies dismissed for a score of just 104 after being put in to bat first by skipper Virat Kohli.

The West Indies never really managed to make their presence felt, losing wickets at regular intervals. Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer had another day to forget, crumbling cheaply which set the stage for an embarrasing collapse.

Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers, picking 4 wickets with seamers Jasprit Bumrah and Khaleel Ahmed contributing with 2 wickets as as well.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli ensured a comfortable chase, despite the early dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan.

India have wrapped up the five-match series 3-1 and will be looking to ensure similar performances in the upcoming T20I series as well,

Here are the Highlights:

# India win by 9 wickets in the fifth ODI against the West Indies!

# India 105/1

# Half-Century! Half-century for Rohit Sharma who has been sensational to say the least, playing a key role in ensuring a comfortable chase for team India, bringing his half-century off 45 deliveries.

# Rohit Sharma will be thanking his luck after surviving a dismissal off a stunning delivery by Oshane Thomas who overstepped. At the same time, India are comfortable poised at this stage having knocked down half the target within just 10 overs. Kohli and Sharma have built a steady partnership which is something the Windies will rue missing out on. India 52/1 (10 overs)

# West Indies skipper Jason Holder will be ruing his inability to hold on on to a tough catch off Virat Kohli's bat which could have made the clash more of a contest. India are comfortably poised at this stage and seem all set to knock down the paltry target within the next few overs. India 25/1 (5 overs)

# Virat Kohli walks down to the middle!

#Wicket! Oshane Thomas strikes off his first delivery, with Shikhar Dhawan edging on to the stumps off a short delivery. Shikhar Dhawan 6(5), India 6/1(1.5)

# Oshane Thomas is the last man in for the Windies!

# Wicket! Kemar Roach has been dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja after attempting a big hit, but failing to clear the boundary ropes with Kedar Jadhav making no mistakes at all. Kemar Roach 5(15), West Indies 103/9 (31.3 overs)

# Devendra Bishoo walks down for the West Indies!

#Wicket! Khaleel brought into the attack by skipper Virat Kohli strikes with his second delivery of the over dismissing none other than skipper Jason Holder who fails to negotiate the delivery, handing a catch to Jadhav at mid-off. West Indies 87/7(25.2 overs)

# The West Indies are dangerously close to folding up for a low score just like the scenario in the previous ODI where they hardly managed to post a total of 150 runs. Jason Holder and Keemo Paul need to ensure a steady knock at this stage to avoid an embarrasing loss yet again. West Indies 87/6(25)

# Keemo Paul is the 6th batsman in for the Windies!

# Wicket! Fabian Allen perishes after a short ball from Jasprit Bumrah comes sharply into him, forcing him to top-edge the ball which is gleefully caught by Kedar Jadhav. Fabian Allen 4(11) West Indies 66/6 (20.6 overs)

# Fabian Allen is the new man for the Windies!

# Wicket! Rovman Powell is sent back to the pavillion by Khaleel Ahmed after attempting to smash the bowler into the stands. However, Powell who has been rusty throughout the series, failed to generate any decent connection handing an easy catch to Shikhar Dhawan at deep square leg. West Indies 57/5(17 overs)

# Wicket! The Windies are all set to get knocked out for a below-par total with Shimron Hetmyer dismissed Lbw by Ravindra Jadeja for just 9 runs off 11 balls. Hetymer failed to negotiate a turning delivery from Jadeja who opted to review the umpire's initial not out call. West Indies 53/4 (15.5 overs)

# Shimron Hetmyer is the key man for West Indies with Rovman Powell struggling to generate any decent connection on the ball throughout his innings so far. The Indian bowlers will be looking to capitalise on this by dismissing Powell, which will certainly put more pressure on Hetmyer. West Indies 51/3(15 overs)

# 50 comes up for the West Indies!

# Shimron Hetmyer comes down at No 4 for the West Indies!

#Wicket! Ravindra Jadeja strikes with the ball dismissing Marlon Samuels who seemed increasingly comfortable on the crease against the Indian bowlers. The West Indies are in deep trouble at this stage and need a stable partnership at any cost. West Indies 36/3 (11.4 overs)

# West Indies are off to a terrible start early on in an extremely crucial clash against India with talisman Shai Hope and attacking opener Kieran Powell dismissed early on. Marlon Samuels and Rovman Powell will be looking to ensure a solid foundation at this stage for the West Indies in order to ensure a competitive total. West Indies 6/2 (5 overs)

# Marlon Samuels is the next man in for the Windies!

#Wicket! The Windies have lost their second wicket in an extremely unlucky fashion. A massive inside edge off Shai Hope's bat edges on to the stumps following an inch-perfect delivery by Jasprit Bumrah. Shai Hope 0(2), West Indies 3/2(1.4 overs)

# Shai Hope walks down at No 3!

# Wicket! Kieran Powell has been dismissed by Bhuvaneshwar Kumar off the fourth delivery of the first over with a swinging delivery which induced an edge off Powell to wicketkeeper MS Dhoni who makes no mistakes. Kieran Powell 0(4), West Indies 1/1(0.4 overs)

# West Indies win toss and opt to bat first

The fourth ODI between India and West Indies proved to be a one-sided contest with the Men in Blue scoring 377 runs after being put in to bat first with centuries from Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayadu.

The West Indies were never really in the chase and failed to pace their chase well, losing a flurry of wickets in the early and middle overs.

A rare off-day for Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer proved to be the final nail in the coffin for the visitors who crumbled for a score of 153, losing by a margin of 224 runs.
