Mitch Winehouse wants virtual Amy to appear on stage

London: Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch has said that he will be happy if his late daughter appeared as a hologram on stage, just like Tupac. The late rapper had been projected in high definition with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg at California’s Coachella festival in April this year. “The most important thing to Amy was the music and I’m sure a lot of people would like to hear her sing again, the Sun quoted the dad as saying. “It depends on what Amy’s fans want as a way to keep her memory alive. If it’s a book, an album or a hologram, then so be it,” he said. But he added that he would struggle to watch if it did happen. “I can’t watch Amy on TV or listen to her songs, it’s really difficult,” he added. Plans are in the pipeline for The Amy Winehouse Foundation to do some kind of benefit gig. ANI
