The first look of John Abraham's upcoming film 'Satyameva Jayate is out. And much like his latest film 'Parmanu', this one too seems to be a hard-hitting one.

The actor took to Twitter to share the poster writing, "This Independence Day, Justice will roar! #SatyamevaJayateOn15Aug @zmilap @BajpayeeManoj @SMJFilm @TSeries @EmmayEntertain @nikkhiladvani #BhushanKumar @aishasharma25".

The poster features John, in a muscular look, against the background of flames and few newspaper article cutouts, one of which reads, "Cop killer or public hero". The tagline of the poster reads, "Beimaan pitega, corruption mitega."

Looking at the poster, one can easily assume that John plays a fierce police officer in it who will take on corrupt officers.

'Satyamev Jayate' has been directed by Milap Zaveri and also features Manoj Bajpayee and Amruta Khanvilkar in pivotal roles. The film is reported to be a cop drama and promises to be a power-packed-dialogues-infused action drama. It has been scheduled to release on August 15 along with Akshay Kumar's 'Gold'.

Debutante actress Aisha Sharma has been paired opposite Abraham in the film.

In the meantime, John's last release 'Parmanu' was based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998. The film received a thumbs up from the audience and the critics as well and despite facing stiff competition from biggies like 'Raazi', 'Veere Di Wedding' and 'Race 3', it has so far collected Rs 61 crore at the Box Office.
