Ittefaq: Trailer of Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna starrer to be unveiled today

Mumbai: The trailer of Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna starrer Ittefaq will be unveiled today at 11 AM.

The posters of the film were released on Wednesday.

Directed by Abhay Chopra (late BR Chopra's grandson), Ittefaq is apparently an adaptation on Yash Chopra’s 1969 namesake film starring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Madan Puri.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had announced the launch of Abhay’s film by tweeting, “My fav films by Yashji #Ittefaq is being recreated by Abhay. Thx @S1dharthM @sonakshisinha Akshaye. Also BR & Dharma Films tie up with RCE (sic).

Ittefaq is a thriller which revolves around two eye-witnesses who are also the prime suspects in a double murder case investigated by a police officer.

Akshaye plays the officer investigating the complex case with eye witnesses narrating entirely different versions, thereby making investigation even more difficult to decipher.

Sona plays Maya, Akshay essays Dev and Sidharth portrays Vikram.

Ittefaq is a crucial film for both Sona and Sidharth who haven’t had a great time at the Box Office for quite some time now. Sona’s Akira and Noor tanked at the Box Office and so did Sidharth’s Baar Baar Dekho and A Gentleman.

Slated to release on November 3, Ittefaq is one of Bollywood’s most anticipated films in the thriller genre. It’s been a while we have seen such a film and hence it would be interesting to see if it succeeds in raking the moolah at the Box Office.
